WHAT WE DO

Re-Thinking Waste: From Burden to Resource

Facing increasing environmental concerns, we urgently need to redefine our approach to waste.

The current linear consumption model, predominantly ending in landfills or incinerators, is no longer viable. Instead, we must envision a new lifestyle that transforms and reevaluates how we use what we once considered waste.

Rather than viewing waste as a burden to discard, we must recognize it as a valuable resource that can be recycled, repurposed, or up-cycled. This paradigm shift requires a change in mindset, seeing beyond the conventional notions of what is deemed unusable and its negative impacts.

At Circlworks®, we are optimists; we see opportunity in these materials and are committed to using our creative design skills to create beautiful, luxurious products that give these materials another life.

Our Approach

At Circlworks® waste isn’t waste anymore, it’s a resource.

At Circlworks®, we take the time to get to know our materials. We recycle high-end luxury industrial table cuttings, leftovers, and post-consumer materials sourced from local manufacturers that would otherwise go into landfills.

Some of our materials come to us already dyed or printed with patterns that we incorporate or manipulate into new designs. For others, we also use natural dyes and inks from plants, flowers, and food waste. This creates beautiful designs in nature's palette that pull inspiration from heritage craft textile traditions worldwide.

Handcrafted in the USA at our studio in Wappinger Falls, New York, our artisan collections are made in small limited editions from plant fibers such as cotton or linen, forest-friendly cellulosic, animal fibers, and silk. This results in unique luxurious capsule collections that can be mixed and matched to fit your everyday lifestyle.
